FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have revealed a major new expansion for Elden Ring Nightreign. Called The Forsaken Hollows, the DLC is scheduled to reach all versions of Elden Ring Nightreign in early December 2025.
The expansion's announcement may not come as a surprise to the most attentive of fans, as FromSoftware parent company Kadokawa teased Elden Ring Nightreign DLC plans during its latest earnings call on November 6. At the time, the group only committed to launching new content for the game during its ongoing fiscal year, which ends in March 2026. Days later, that tentative launch window has been replaced with a firm release date.
Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hollows DLC Coming December 4
Elden Ring Nightreign's first expansion was revealed in the form of The Forsaken Hollows during Sony's latest State of Play Japan event. The DLC received a 108-second reveal trailer near the end of the November 11 broadcast, with the video showcasing its gameplay and bosses, among other elements. The Forsaken Hollows will launch across every version of the game on December 4.
The Forsaken Hollows Adding 2 New Elden Ring Nightreign Classes
The Forsaken Hollows will expand Elden Ring Nightreign's selection of Nightfarers with two new classes. The Scholar leans on high Arcane and battlefield observation, while the Undertaker blends Faith and Strength into a unique skill set ideal for aggressive frontline pressure. Both arrive alongside new boss encounters tied to a fresh Shifting Earth environment called The Great Hollow, described as a great cavity in Limveld.
Some Elden Ring Nightreign Players Already Own The Forsaken Hollows
Anyone who previously bought the Deluxe Edition of Elden Ring Nightreign will receive The Forsaken Hollows at no extra cost. The higher-tier version of the game regularly retails at $54.99, $15 more than the base game. Between the roguelike's May 30 release and today's announcement, Bandai Namco was also offering a $15 Deluxe Upgrade Pack, which has now been renamed to The Forsaken Hollows. The Deluxe Edition offers a digital mini soundtrack and artbook as pre-order incentives.
