Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Reveals Beta Rewards

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has officially revealed the rewards players can earn by playing the upcoming beta test for the highly-anticipated shooter. With just over a month remaining until the launch of the next entry in the massively popular shooter franchise, Treyarch has provided fans with plenty of early information about the game. The campaign of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will serve as a sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, with improvements coming to Omnimovement, Zombies, and lots more. Now, Black Ops fans will soon get a chance to try out the game early.

While Black Ops 7 isn't releasing for more than a month, Treyarch is giving players an early opportunity to try out the game firsthand. Black Ops 7 will launch an open beta test later this week, set to officially begin on October 2 for select players or October 5 for everyone. Players will be able to try out six different maps during the event and six game modes, including fan-favorite modes like Team Deathmatch and Domination. Treyarch is now teasing the rewards players can get for playing in the Black Ops 7 beta.

A new visual shared by Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 shows off all the new rewards players can earn for playing in the beta. Low levels will grant a variety of different minor cosmetics, including an animated emblem for reaching Level 2, the Gun Flex emote at Level 6, and a "Beta Neon" sticker at Level 11. The bigger rewards for the beta will come when players reach Level 20, granting a Falkner Operator Skin for players who pre-ordered and a Wellin skin for everyone else. The highest tiers of rewards, exclusive to pre-orders, grant special loading screens, calling cards, and a weapon blueprint.

black ops 7 beta dates

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will look to have some stiff competition with several big-name shooters coming throughout the Fall of 2025. Next month will see the debut of Battlefield 6, with publisher EA even taking shots at the Call of Duty franchise in a new advertisement. Another iconic shooter franchise also recently made a big return, with Gears of War: Reloaded launching as the franchise's first new game since 2020 and Gears of War: E-Day reportedly coming next year. Black Ops 7's upcoming beta should give fans plenty of reason to stick with the beloved shooter.
