Military Bonuses

Active duty members who join the active reserves may qualify for an enlistment bonus.

People who join the military with prior active service may be eligible for a Prior Service Enlistment Bonus.

The Selective Reenlistment Bonus (SRB) is paid to enlisted members to encourage reenlistments in critical military skills.

In addition to pay, there are two types of bonuses that encourage you to start and/or stay in the service.

The Aviation Retention Bonus is for pilots who agree to continue in flying duties after their original service commitment.

Special pay is available for naval officers working in nuclear power plants on ships and submarines.

If you work in the health care field, you may be eligible for a sign-on bonus, an extension bonus, and monthly incentive pay.
