New Prosthetic Enables Drinking from Water Bottle

    Volunteers on DARPA's Revolutionizing Prosthetics program test out early versions of the DEKA Arm System. One volunteer, who is missing both arms, even uses the advanced prosthesis to drink from a plastic water bottle, an especially difficult task for a prosthetic limb considering that water bottles are often slippery, easily deform, and contain moving contents. #DARPABiT - (Video courtesy of DEKA Research & Development) http://www.dekaresearch.com/deka_arm.shtml
