"Some Came Running" - Trailer

Frank Sinatra’s greatest military role doesn’t actually feature any military service. He plays Dave Hirsh, an Army veteran struggling to adjust to life back in his hometown. He falls in with rogue gambler Bama Dillert, played by Dean Martin in what may be his finest dramatic performance Shirley MacLaine is the less-than-brilliant girl that Sinatra eventually falls in love with. This movie is miles away from the jokey movies Sinatra and Martin made in the ’60s and one of those little-known gems that will stick with you for years. (1958)
