Railgun: Electric Pulse Cannon Fires Rounds at Mach 6 Speed

The Navy’s Railgun is being developed at Naval Surface Warfare Center and is moving forward towards deployment aboard Zumwalt-Class destroyers. The Railgun uses electro-magnetic pulses, instead of gunpowder, to fire a projectile at incredible speeds.
