Incredible Video of Dog Rescued from Landslide
Colombian police rescued a dog that was being swept away by the dangerous currents of the Liboriana River in Salgar this week. Two officers patrolling the area noticed the canine struggling in the water. In order to rescue the animal, one of them risked his own life by jumping into the water. After pulling the dog from the river, CPR was performed and first-aid was administered. The dog is expected to recover fully. The area has seen heavy rains recently, and a landslide on May 18 killed over 60 people. The death toll is expected to rise due to many residents still being unaccounted for.
