FLORIDA – Another massive drug bust on the Caribbean sea happened July 14 as Coast Guard officers intercepted a go-fast boat loaded with cocaine. After warning shots were ignored, the Coast Guard helicopter was able to shoot and disable the motor, according to reports. Four suspects were arrested, but not before they made a desperate attempt to elude capture by tossing 42 bales overboard. The contraband was eventually seized. The total haul was 2,300 pounds with an estimated street value of $35 million, according to officials.
