Daughters Surprised during Pledge of Allegiance

MISSOURI CITY, Texas - Two sisters received a surprise they will never forget Friday morning. It had been about a year since Caitlin Blalock, 12, and her younger sister, Cameron, 11, last saw their father, Army Sgt. David Blalock. Their wait came to an end Friday during the morning announcements at Billy Baines Middle School in Missouri City. With the help of school administrators, Sgt. Blalock reunited with his daughters. He had been stationed in Afghanistan. How he surprised his daughters took a lot of coordination. He did so by appearing as a guest presenter, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, broadcast live within the school over closed-circuit television.
