U.S. Army Reserve: Ready for WHAT?!?!?!

FacebookXPinterestEmailEmailEmailShare

The U.S. Army Reserve has announced its Ready Force X initiative.

Say that three times real fast.

OK. Stop laughing. This is serious.

Just read what LTG Charles D. Luckey, Chief of Army Reserve and Commanding General, U.S. Army Reserve Command, has to say:

"When I talk about having to Fight Fast, when I talk about capability and combat-readiness, I’m talking about lethality for America’s Army Reserve."

"I want to be sure we’re all clear on this; we are going to get this [Ready Force X] done. This is about leadership in the third component in the United States Army. We are going to generate for the American people what they expect us to generate. If you think you've got months or years to get ready in a very time-tested lethal environment, you're in the wrong ball club."

Obviously, LTG Luckey is not fooling around. Not sure we can say the same about EVERY SINGLE PERSON under his command who didn't see fit to point out the obvious.

Or maybe we've come a long way in the last 50 years and our military brass no longer worries about the loss of precious bodily fluids.
