President Trump's chief of staff, retired Marine general and former Secretary of Homeland Security attended an event this morning to mark the fifteenth anniversary of the DHS.
He made a couple of jokes that broke up the folks in the room but are quickly going viral. Did he remember there were cameras in the room?
After getting a laugh with "I miss every one of you every day," Kelly went in for the kill with a bigger punchline, saying "the last thing I wanted to do was walk away from one of the great honors of my life, being the secretary of homeland security, but I did something wrong and God punished me, I guess."
Is that a message to his boss or just the standard workplace joke made by everyone who works in a high-pressure environment.
Watch the video for yourself. Should Kelly consider doing some stand up comedy once he completes his mission at the White House?
