Steve Gern is going viral. He's a Marine veteran now working as a security contractor in Iraq. In a Facebook video, he shared some strong opinions about President Trump's executive order that aims to "protect the nation from foreign terrorist entry into the United States." Specifically, the order imposed a 120-day suspension of the refugee program and a 90-day ban on travel to the U.S. from citizens of seven countries that have harbored or supported terrorists: Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Sudan.
That's the executive order that's been halted by the appellate court, pending either a final appeal to the Supreme Court or a new executive order designed to get around the court's objections.
Here's what Steve has to say:

Gern asked some Iraqis he knows about the situation for Americans there: "And I said, 'OK. What would happen if I went out in town?' And they said the locals would snatch me up and kill me within an hour....This is the local populace that would do this. This isn't ISIS, this isn't al Qaeda."
After the post went viral, Gern's employer pulled him out of Iraq to make sure he was safe. When he got home, he went on Sean Hannity's Fox News program to offer his insights.
