Spouse Career Fairs – Have you Been?

A conglomerate of programs and agencies, including the US Chamber of Commerce and the Joining Forces campaign, have started hosting a series of military spouse focused career fairs around the country.


The latest, held yesterday in D.C., was the largest to date and included not only employers looking to fill spots but free makeover and hair stylist booths and career counseling.

As someone who has never attended a career fair, I wouldn’t really know what to do when I got to one, and may even be so intimidated that I wouldn’t attend at all. Has anyone out there been to a career fair in the past and, if so, can you offer some advice for those spouses who have not?
