The following is an update on the veterans legislation that have been sent to the president for signature this week: H.R.3230 - Veterans' Access to Care through Choice, Accountability, and Transparency Act of 2014. This bill is a response to the recent VA Health Care Crisis, which resulted in Sec Shinseki's resignation. July 15 Veterans Legislation Update: H.R.272 - To designate the Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense joint outpatient clinic to be constructed in Marina, California, as the "Major General William H. Gourley VA-DOD Outpatient Clinic". H.R.330 - Distinguished Flying Cross National Memorial Act H.R.803 - Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (Includes Veterans) H.R.1216 - To designate the Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Center in Prescott, Arizona, as the "Dr. Cameron McKinley Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Center". H.R.1813 - To redesignate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 162 Northeast Avenue in Tallmadge, Ohio, as the "Lance Corporal Daniel Nathan Deyarmin, Jr., Post Office Building".
