The Department of Veterans Affairs program known as 'VA for Vets' is sponsoring FREE job seeker events for Veterans, Servicemembers, and Spouses who are seeking employment. The 3-hour 'Job Seeker Boot Camp' seminars will help attendees create winning resumes; develop key job searching strategies; build and utilize networks; develop an effective social media presence; make a strong first impression; and deliver a stand out interview. Participants will leave the seminars with an action plan, electronic resources and a renewed enthusiasm for their job search.
The April Job Seeker Boot Camps will be held in two locations . The first event is from 9am to noon in Cherry Hill, NJ on April 17 at the Crown Plaza Cherry Hill and the second event will be held from 9am to noon in Baltimore, MD on April 19th at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore.
