The ASVAB word knowledge and paragraph comprehension sections are broken down as follows:
ASVAB word knowledge: This is as simple as it gets. You're presented with a word and then are asked to choose among four answers for the word that best fits the meaning of that word.
ASVAB paragraph comprehension: You will be asked to read several paragraphs, then answer several questions.
