Fall is approaching, and that means it's time for football.

Whether you're hoping to catch some NFL games in person or cheer your favorite team on while streaming games at home, you can take advantage of special military deals to make the wins even sweeter.

And don't forget to use military discounts to show off your team spirit with shirts, hats and other merch!

Game Tickets

Watching a live football game as you cheer on your favorite team surrounded by other enthusiastic fans is the best. And the NFL is a huge supporter of the military through its Salute to Service program that raises money for its partners, including the Bob Woodruff Foundation, Pat Tillman Foundation, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), United Service Organizations (USO) and Wounded Warrior Project.

Individual NFL teams don’t seem to offer military discounts, but you can find discounted game tickets through GovX for specified teams like the Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs and many more. You can also contact Vet Tix, an organization that provides tickets to sporting events, concerts, performing arts, and educational and family activities for service members and their families.

Streaming Games

Can't make it to football games in person? Look into streaming services.

NFL+ is a great option for streaming games live or watching them on demand, and you can get discounts on monthly and annual plans after verifying your military status through ID.me.

Another option is NFL Sunday Ticket, which also offers a military discount after online verification with ID.me.

You can watch NFL games on Fubo as well, which provides a military discount of $10 per month off the first two months for GovX members.

Merchandise

If you're looking for football jerseys, hats or collectibles representing your favorite NFL teams and players, head over to NFLShop.com. Active-duty military, National Guard and Reserve members, veterans and dependents all get 15% off sitewide after online verification.

You can also find clothes and other merchandise celebrating your teams at Fanatics, which offers a 15% military discount online, and Kohl's, which offers a 15% military discount in-store on Mondays.
