Washington, DC - Military.com today announced that Admiral Charles R. Larson, US Navy (ret), joined their Board of Advisors. Admiral Larson joins a distinguished Board representing an array of leaders from the military community and Silicon Valley, which includes General Carl Mundy, USMC (ret), Professor Stephen Ambrose, and Dr. David Liddle.

Admiral Larson was formerly Superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy, first from 1983 to 1986, and again from 1994 until 1998. Admiral Larson was the senior U.S. Commander in the Pacific from 1991 to 1994; the first Naval officer selected as a White House Fellow; special assistant to the U.S. Secretary of the Interior in 1968; and Naval aide to the President of the United States from 1969 until 1971. Admiral Larson was also Chairman of the Task Force to Study the Governance, Coordination, and Funding of the University System of Maryland, which was convened by the Maryland General Assembly in 1998. He graduated from the Naval Academy in 1958.
